We (Molly and Karl) have both been through our own weight loss journeys. On this site, we share our experiences and our strategies for getting you the results that you are after.
Hi, I’m Molly Pilz . I was a record setting collegiate gymnast, and my college method of keeping weight off was eating a very lowfat diet, which REQUIRED that I workout 30 hours a week!
When I completed my engineering degree and went into the corporate world, that diet and schedule became impossible to maintain. So I started gaining weight (not to mention the terrible cravings, which were constant).
And then I got pregnant, and gained 45 pounds. Nothing I seemed to do would lead to losing the weight, and it kept me up at night!
And I’m Karl Pilz . Before cleaning up my act, I was a typical “corporate drone”.
I worked 10... 12... sometimes 14 hour days (application engineering for a Fortune 500 company), bouncing city to city all over the country... eating big macs, chicken fried steak, tacos and whatever else look appealing on the menu.
As a result of my crappy eating choices, my weight shot up to a staggering 227 pounds, at 5’9 (roughly 50 pounds overweight).
